胶带为主要材料装配而成。其结构合理使用寿命长，安装养护方便，优于板式橡胶缝。大位移模数式伸缩装置分为两种型式：单组式伸缩缝与多组式伸缩缝。
多组式伸缩缝
多组缝由边梁、中梁、支承横梁、位移
控制箱、承压支座、压紧支座、锚固构件和密封
橡胶带组成，每组位移均为0-80mm，根据桥梁实际位移量要求确定组数，目前*大位移量可达1200mm。主要形式有：XF型斜向支承式伸缩装置。SSFB型直向支承式伸缩装置。

1.坚固可靠
本伸缩装置的边梁及中梁采用16Mn钢轧制而成，能承受大流量、大吨位车辆的垂直荷载与水平冲击。其锚固构件同梁体、桥台的预埋
钢筋焊接牢固，能将车辆荷载可靠地传递至墩台，结构合理、坚固耐用，适用于设计荷载汽—超20，挂—120之桥梁。
2.伸缩灵敏
本装置多组缝的位移控制系统由橡胶
弹簧、四氟承压支座等弹性元件或斜向支承构件组成，各组位移均匀，伸缩摩阻力小。
3.桥面平顺、行车舒适
本装置既能保证梁体的自由伸缩位移，又能使桥面接缝形成一个平顺整体，行车平稳舒适。
4.止水防蚀
嵌装于每组钢梁沟槽内的
氯丁橡胶密封条。按桥宽整条加工，具良好的弹性变形与防水防尘功能；能有效保护伸缩装置内部构件及梁底支座免受浸蚀。
5.移位量大，选择便利
本装置位移量按模数设计制造，由80至1200mm。桥梁设计建设部门可根据桥梁上部构造实际伸缩量自由选定。
